Twin Towers Terror Toy Recalled

Interesting warning to wholesalers who buy imports "sight unseen": CBS News | Twin Towers Terror Toy Recalled.

Small toys showing an airplane flying into the World Trade Center were packed inside more than 14,000 bags of candy and sent to small groceries around the United States before being recalled.

If you look at the photo, you can also see a big green button on the side.. I'll bet that plane spins, too.

They've only collected 90% of the bags of candy; how long do you figure before the toys show up on eBay?

Jaysus! Surely these toys were mistakenly shipped interdimensionally by the Twilight Zone Parcel Service from the whacked-out universe of What The Fuck? Someone on the same Earth that I live on thought, for the length of time it takes to stamp out and assemble plastic toys, that any kind of black/dark 9/11 humour would be tolerated by the United States of America? By now I'm sure Delta Force specialists are hunting down every last management-level employee of the Happy Fun Luck Toy Company of Pusan, South Korea.

It reminds me of the guy I knew at law school who thought it would be fun -- at hallowe'en 2001, no less -- to dress up as a building, and have a friend dress up as a jet, and keep flying into him all evening. What? What? Do you *want* to be murdered?
