Well, who is the informant in such a criminal act? The corpse? Necrophilia is a "victimless" crime, pretty much, because a dead person has no rights. I suppose you could argue that the subject of the criminal act is unable to speak for itself, so the state has to step in. I wonder how they conduct the trial if there was no third party eyewitness. Do they put a medium on the stand?
