zero emission transportation

While on the topic of transportation... I've been eyeing one of these: GW-F Foldable Electric Bicycle. It'll go up to 20 Km/h for about 35 Km. Plus, it folds in half! How cool is that? The battery can be charged by plugging into a regular outlet and heck, if you can't charge it, you can still pedal -- that's the whole point.

Since the bike can't go over 30 Km/h, no license is currently required, and you can use bike lanes and follow cyclist rules of the road. Sure it isn't the prettiest cycle out there (if I wanted a pretty ride, I'd go after a Vespa or something similar), but at about CDN$1000 it would do what I needed -- i.e. get me to work and home again.
