Decided to meet hubby for lunch, and we chose Boston Pizza so that the kid could get "Bugs and Cheese." Today, they were out of bug-shaped pasta, so she glumly ordered "noodles" (spaghetti) with a big sigh. I ordered the half meatball sub with a side salad. I expected the "half" to mean half a sub, but I wasn't prepared for "meatball" to mean ONE meatball cut in half. That's it. One meatball. Bummer.

I would have thought a half meatball sub would have been half a sub also. So it was a regular size sandwich, but with a meatball cut in half on it? Ugh.
Sounds like a disappointing lunch for you and the kiddo. I hope it was good, at least.
It was half the bread, but even so, I expected more than one sad meatball. What I had was good, but I guess I have been spoiled by Subway and Quiznos as far as meatball subs go. (Actually, hubby makes a mean meatball sub, too.)
