OK, so I actually completed the Doctor Who scarf last night (well, the knitting part anyway; I still have to weave in the ends). I was pretty determined -- I only had 46 rows remaining -- so I got myself a cup of tea and settled in to finish it. I cast off at 11:15 last night! Tonight I will weave in all the ends and tomorrow it will be winging its way to its new owner in Vancouver.
Then I can get on with all the other projects brewing in my head.
I have agreed to do a table at the Libraries craft fair this year (it's pretty laissez-faire which suits me fine) so I want to make some small items to sell. I want to have some Coffee Haiku books finished and I plan to make some collaged bookmarks and maybe some cards. Depending on my mood, I may bake some cookies, too, since those are guaranteed to sell out.
After that's done, I can start some other knitting projects, starting with baby hats for two people I know who are expecting in the new year. No, I am not one of them. ;)

hahaha... I am LOVING the new Doctor Who. speaking of which have you signed up to Ravelry? http://www.ravelry.com/
it's really cool. I had to wait a few weeks to get an invite, but I think you'd love the site. I'm a member of a few groups who are Dr Who fanatics. Lots of scarves being knitted, but also some crocheted Dr #9, Dr #10, The Master, and various colleagues in doll form... oh, and a Dalek. Very cute.
I hadn't heard of ravelry -- thanks for the heads up! As for knitting Daleks and Doctors, well, those projects are far beyond my patience. I am a lazy knitter and I don't do too well following patterns.
