SalaryClock

Try this the next time you are at work, sitting around with nothing to do (assuming you have internet access at work). Type your annual salary into the Salary Clock to see how much you are making while sitting on your ass. As I have typed this entry (from home) I've made over a buck.

More interesting/disgusting is to pick a celebrity salary (Bill Gates or Oprah, for instance) and watch how fast the ticker goes. Thanks to Sarcasmo for the link.

Wow. Steve Jobs could pay my rent (in USD, yet) in 43 seconds. I have to sell my goddamn shoes. Reality is totally unreal.

My clock moves way too slow. I guess that's a sign that I need to get another job. I thought (or hoped)there was something wrong with the site until I clicked on one of the guys making big bucks and the thing was already over $200 in just a couple of seconds.

And I do think that it sucks that there are people making these insane amounts of money while there are others (myself included) struggling to pay everday expenses.
