Cool! That's not a local beastie, is it? If so, where did you find it?
Yes, it's local. Pretty common too (I see them in bushes all over the place). I think it might be a "fishing spider" but it's hard to confirm from the underside, since most photos online show the top. This photo was taken in Barnard Park (near the WestBay Walkway) in late August.
